DIY Flip Lid Coffin Favours

Hi friends, today I’m sharing my project number 2 of my Halloween Series 2021.

These colourful Flip Lid Coffin Favours will definitly grab peoples attention this year!

These are a nice size to fill with sweet treats or a small gift.

These Nuvo Drops are the biggest I think I’ve ever used, they look like chocolate Smarties and good enough to eat!

If you want to get really creative you can make a coffin wreath or a mantle decoration by sticking them together.

I made my own pattern paper using a ghost stamp I had and coloured them in, in the colours to match the Nuvo Drops I used.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE

Nuvo Drops, I used Crushed Grape, Sprig of Mistletoe & Ripened Pumpkin. https://tidd.ly/2NeexL6 Creative Expressions 240gsm black card. https://tidd.ly/3BTBPui

My Pink & Purple Scoreboard by Hunkydory. https://tidd.ly/33gWbOJ

The stamp set is old and I can’t remember who it’s by.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE

2 pieces of 3.1/2 x 8′ card for the coffin.

Score along the 3.1/2 side at 1.1/2 and along the 8′ side at 1/2′, 2′ & 4′ then on the other piece of 3.1/2 x 8′ score at 1.1/2 along the short side at 1/2′, 2′ & 6′ along the other.

2 pieces of 1′ x 8′ card for the lid.

Score along the 8′ side of one piece at 1/2′, 2′ & 4′ and at 1/2′ along the 1′ side. Then score the other piece at 1/2′, 2′ & 6′ and at 1/2′ along the short side.

2 pieces of 1.1/4 x 3.3/4 pattern paper for the larger sides, 2 pieces of 1.1/4 x 1.1/4 for the top and bottom sides and 2 pieces of 1.1/4 x 1.3/4 for the corner, side panels.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
