Hey everyone, It’s time to start my Mother’s Day series 2022, and I thought this Tea Bag Dispenser was just perfect!

This has been a requested tutorial, so I hope you like my spin on it.

I think the decorative knob really finishes this off and makes it a lovely keepsake.

This has been designed to hold teabags, however, you can easily pop whatever you like in there and you can also not cut away the opening and just use it as a nice gift box or for storage.

It’s a great size and holds a lot of teabags!

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THIS

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS

2 pieces of 6.3/4 x 10′ card for the main box.

Score along the 6.3/4  side at 3.1/8 & 6.1/4

Score along the 10′ side at 3.1/8

4 pieces of pattern paper to cover the 4 main sides.

1 piece of just under 7.1/4 x 7.1/4 card for the lid.

Score at 1′ & 2′ on all 4 sides.

3 pieces of 2.7/8 x 6.5/8 pattern paper to cover the sides and back of the box.

3 pieces of 3/4′ x 3′ card to cover the sides of the lid.

1 piece of 2.7/8 x 2.7/8 pattern paper to cover the top.

1 piece of 3′ x 3′ pattern paper to cover the inside base of the box.

1 piece of 2.7/8 x 6.3/8 card for the front panel.

1 piece of 4.1/4 x 3′ card for the decorative knob.

Score along the 4.1/4 side at 1′, 2′, 3′ & 4′

Score along the 3′ side at 1/2′ & 2′ follow my tutorial below for more detailed scorelines for this piece.

6 pieces of 4′ x 4′ card layered up for the base. You can also cover a piece of greyboard if you’d rather.
