Hi everyone, today I’m sharing these cute gift bags, that hold a Lindt Teddy perfectly.
I picked up two of these chocolate bears recently and wanted to make a gift bag to show them off.
The oval apertures are optional, the bag looks lovely without them.
The poinsettia paper flowers were given as a gift a couple of years ago.
SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BAGS
Fillagree Oval nesting dies are available here.
Inverted Scallop nesting dies are available here.
The paper pad is from The Works in stores only.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BAGS
2 pieces of 7′ x 9.1/2 pattern paper for the bag.
Score along the 7′ side at 6.1/2
Score along the 9.1/2 at 6.3/4
2 strips of 1′ x 6.1/2 to decorate the top of the bag.
I missed a scoreline in the video, so when you score along the 7′ side at 6.1/2 you need to flip the card so you have the other short end and score at 3.3/4 just to the first scoreline. Do that on both pieces.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
Happy crafting,
Sam.
