Every year I make a Selection Box for my Best friend, it’s become a bit of a thing now and they really look forward to getting theirs.
For this reason, I always like them to have a WOW factor!
This year’s version is huge and holds so much!
You don’t need to put chocolates in there and it will work for so many occasions.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS SELECTION BOX
2 pieces of 9.1/2 x 12′ card for the base of each side.
2-4 pieces of 5′ x 12′ card for the long sides.
Score along the 5′ side at 1′, 2′, 3′ & 4′
2-4 pieces of 5′ x 9.1/2 card for the short sides.
Score along the 5′ side at 1′, 2′, 3′ & 4′
Score along the 9.1/2 side at 1′ & 8.1/2 down to the first scoreline. Flip and repeat along the other side.
1 piece of 2.1/4 x 12′ card for the hinge.
Score along the 2.1/4′ side at 1.1/8
2 pieces of 9.1/2 x 12′ pattern paper to cover both sides.
8 strips of 3/4′ x 11.3/4 pattern paper to cover the long sides.
8 strips of 3/4′ x 9.1/4 pattern paper to cover the long sides.
