Hi everyone, I have another sweet project to share today.

I purchased a lovely ornament for my Nan and wanted a box to display it in.

I decided to make this Slimline Gate Fold Gift Box.

It’s held together with a personalised belly band.

I loved the words on this ornament and thought it made a perfect gift for my Nan who lives over 3 hrs away from me.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS GIFT BOX

1 piece of 9.1/2 x 5.3/4 card for the box.

Score along the 9.1/2 side at 1/2′, 4.1/2, 5′ & 9′

Score along the 5.3/4 side at 1/2′, 4.3/4 & 5.1/4

2 pieces of 2.5/8 x 4.1/4 card for the gatefold.

Score each piece along the 2.5/8 side at  1/2′

1 piece of 3.3/4 x 4′ pattern paper to cover the front of the box.

2-4 pieces of 1.3/4 x 4′ pattern paper to cover the gatefold panels.
