Card Craft

Love Hearts gift box

So continuing the Valentines Day theme today I have made this really lovely ‘Love Hearts’ sweets gift box.

These sweets are one of my childhood favorites and are a perfect little gift to give to someone.

I made this box to fit 4 tubes of Love Hearts perfectly and I think it turned out pretty well.

I got the idea when I purchased last months ‘Stamping’ magazine which had this lovely ‘Truly Scrumptious’ themed stamp set.

There are loads of wonderful stamps to use and the ideas in the magazine are great too.

I used the Love Heart stamps as featured above and coloured them in with the closest matching colours from my Spectrum Aqua pens.

Here’s a short video showing the paper I made.

If you don’t have this stamp set below are some links to other sites selling similar stamps

Measurements of card stock and score lines are…

x2 9×7 ‘Love Heart’ card stock

To make Lid

Score along the 9′ side at

You will also need a piece of acetate measuring 3.3/4 x 2.5/8

x2 pieces of blue ribbon measuring 6.3/4 & 13′

Other things you will need

StazOn is great and wont bleed, smudge or run and stamps onto any surface.

A rectangle die for your acetate window and some cut out Love Hearts for decoration.

Below is a link to my YouTube channel showing you how I made this lovely Box.

  1. I’m really enjoying the theme/design of
your web site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility
issues? A handful of my blog readers have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Firefox.
Do you have any solutions to help fix this issue?

    1. Hi Freya, thank you for your kind words. My blog is created and run through WordPress making it compatible with all platforms and all devices. I havent come across any issues. Wish I could help further.
