Are you enjoying this series so far? I love to hear your feedback and remember you can share any of the projects you make on my Mixed Up Craft Facebook page I would love to see them and it also inspires others to see different variations.
Today’s cards are these fun
Slide & Stand
Its dead easy to make and really effective, you could churn a lot of these out in an afternoon.
I think for this card you need nice patterned papers, because of the slide mechanism your main panel needs to be completely flat so you can only decorate it with flat papers or stickers so it can slide up & down easily.
I had some lovely sentiment cards from Pebbles Inc which I’ve had lying around for awhile and these worked perfectly teamed with my Craft Asylum 6 x 6 papers.
To make these cards you will need…
11 x 5.3/4 card for the base.
Score along 11′ side at 1, 2.3/4, 3.3/4, 5.1/2, 7.1/4, 8.1/4 & 10
5.7/8 x 4.5/8 white card for the main panel.
5.3/4 x 4.3/8 patterned card for the base mat.
1.1/2 x 5.1/2 of patterned paper x 4 pieces.
3/4 x 5.1/2 of patterned paper x 4 pieces.
I showed a smaller version of this card in my tutorial, to make this one you need…
11 x 4.1/4 card for the base
Same scoring as above.
5.1/4 x 3.1/4 white card for the main panel
5.5/8 x 3 patterned card for the base mat.
1.1/2 x 4 patterned paper x 4 pieces
3/4 x 4 patterned paper x 4 pieces
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made these.
I loved making these and will definitely be making a lot more.
Enjoy
