MIXED UP CRAFT

Having fun with the Retiform Technique

I recently came across the Retiform technique from the talented Pampered Stamper and totally loved it. There are so many ways you can do this technique and no one card will be the same.

In true Mixed Up style mine are bold and bright!

I used my Creative Stamping Magazine stamp set called Winter Garden, this is old from 2016 however here you will find many other back dated copies including the Sea View collection which I used for this masculine card.

I was super pleased with how this one turned out and love how bright the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks are.

This one below is slightly different as I left a lot of white space. Again I like this look a lot.

Like I said there are so many variations to this technique and there is no right or wrong way. Its perfect for beginners and if you only have limited craft supplies.

To make them you will need…

A selection of stamps, I found using stamps that have a theme easier as I knew all the stamps would go together.

A selection of ink pads, I used my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks.

Post it notes.

Mine was for a 6.1/4 x 4.1/2 card so I used a 6 x 4.1/4 white piece of card stock.

Embellishments (optional)

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made these.

I love trying out and experimenting with new techniques, I hope you have fun with this and love it as much as I do.

Happy crafting

Sam
