Hello everyone, how cool are these!?!
I have so many projects written down at the moment. Living in China is great for any paper lover, there is inspiration everywhere, from the Supermarket to the Temples it’s endless.
These wonderful Gold Bar Gift Boxes evolved from some very tiny ones I saw at a temple.
They are so much fun and will look great in any colour.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 8 x 8 Mirri card by Hunkydory, mine our from Hobbybase UK at the cheapest price I can see but they are selling fast, you can also buy direct from Hunkdory
Score on the opposite side so not to scratch the Mirri card at 1″, 4″, 5″ & 7″
Score along the other 8″ side at 1″ & 7″ and then also at 1.1/2 & 6.1/2 just down to the second score line.
2 pieces of gold glitter card 11 x 1″
Score again on the opposite side so not to damaged your card along the 11″ side at every 1/4 all the way along.
Some embellishments or tag optional.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I’ve made them.
So pleased I brought the Mirri card and made these boxes, if only they were real gold bars!!
Happy crafting everyone.
