Hi everyone. So I made these gift boxes a while ago and after I finished them I thought they would look great in gold Mirri card after seeing some very tiny gold paper bars at a Chinese temple.
I loved them so much I posted them up before these.
These are bigger and give you an example of other ways to decorate them.
To make these you will need…
12 x 8.1/4 card
Score along the 12″ side at
1.1/2, 6″, 7.1/2 & 10.7/8
Score along the 8.1/4 side at
1.1/2 & 6.3/4
Rotate back onto 8.1/4 side with the end with the 1.1/8″ part at the top and 1.1/2 each part at the bottom. Score again at 2″ & 6.1/4 down to the second score line.

I decorated mine with my favourite Snow flake die by Hobbybase UK if you make a purchased at Hobbybase enter MIXEDUP at the checkout to receive 10% off.
I die cut my snowflake 3 times and stuck them all together and then I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder by Docrafts, Papermania
Check out my full tutorial below to see the other score lines and cutting you need to do.
Hope you like this unusual box style and I’ve been able to inspire you to make your own.
Enjoy.
