Hello back again with project number 2 of my Easter Series 2018
Here are my Partial Die Cut Pop Up Cards.
This partial die cutting technique is lots of fun and can be done with almost any die you have. Patience and full concentration are needed to make these cards and remember if it’s in between your cutting plates then it will cut!…don’t make the mistake my mum made…although we did have a giggle! 🙂
The papers used for this card above are the free papers from the March issue of Making Cards & Papercarft Magazine
Below I show another style using smaller letters.
To make this style card you need any letter dies. The large ones I use are by Stampin Up.
The smaller 1″ ones are my mums and she believes she got them from eBay.
Like I say in my tutorial any size letter dies will work just make sure you use a good strong card. I used 300 gsm pre-made card base for the smaller card and 216 gsm Papermania Assorted Colossal Colour 12 x 12 paper pack for the large cards.
The free downloadable Trimcraft papers are available here.
Check out my full tutorial below.
Remember, take your time and you will reap the rewards, these do make awesome cards!
Hope you like project number 2 of my Easter 2018 series and I will see you again tomorrow.
Happy Crafting
Sam

Thanks so much Sam for teaching me yet again something new, who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks! I am 81 and you have given me such joy in learning so many new things. Much love Dorothy Ward. xxx
Hello Dorothy, thank you for your kind words.
