Easy Watercolour Backgrounds

Hello everyone, earlier today I did my weekly Hobbybase Facebook Live and this week I showed you how to create fun and easy backgrounds by just using watercolour pens.

Using the fun Krafy Panda stamp set Fantastic Dragons from Hobbybase, these bright and colourful cards were lots of fun to make.

Tone on tone stamped backgrounds.

This is a great easy way to make backgrounds for anyone new to card making or if you have limited supplies.

Supplies used were…

Reeves Watercolour pencils.

Stazon Black Ink.

White embossing powder.

Clear embossing powder.

Strong Watercolour paper or heavyweight card stock.

Ribbon and sequins to decorate.

All my card bases are 6.1/2 x 4.1/2 and my mats are 6.1/4 x 4.1/4 which will give you a nice 1/4″ border.
