Cute Handbags in Multiple Sizes

Happy Monday everyone, today I’m sharing a fun bright project!

These cute gift bags are easy to make and can be made in many many sizes. Once you understand the concept, you can really play around with them.

These have a real cartoon look about them, I don’t know whether it’s due to the bold colour or the chunky look to them, either way, I love them and think they are very fun.

I used the Simply Creative Razzle Dazzle and Tropicana 12 x 12 papers by Trimcraft.

My cardstock is my favourite Solid Colossal Capsule collection from Docrafts. It seems its sold out from The Range online, but I’ve found a seller on Amazon selling it for the same low price. Make sure it’s the cardstock and not the paper, as the packs look the same.

Papermania, Capsule Assorted Colossal Colours.

To make these gift bags you will need 1 piece of any size square paper you want. I use 12 x 12 in my tutorial, but as I mentioned once you see how it’s made it’s easy to change.

The cutting circle I use is the Xcut 7 piece cutting system. I’ve also seen it’s available on Walmart online and Joann online.

The plastic flowers I used were from The Range UK.

The green bag is using 12 x 12 card scoring at 5″ & 7″ and coming in at 4″ on each size. The pink bag is using 12 x 12 card scoring again at 5″ & & 7″ but coming in at 3″ on each side.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.

I love the plastic flower detail and chunky handles.
