Hello everyone, this weeks Hobbybase card has been inspired by a recent video Jennifer Maguire uploaded. By just using your nesting dies you can create quick and easy cards with a really simple technique.
I had a nice afternoon making these cards whilst watching a movie.
The Hobbybase Bunting die has been a “go to” for me, its perfect for cutting out sentiments and with 5 different sizes you can use them for lots of different things.
To create this look you simply stack all your dies together, like the picture above and then run them through your die machine cutting lots of different colours.
Once you have a nice variety of colours you can begin to piece them back together in any colour way you want.
Check out my full tutorial below where I show you how to make these.
The large Happy Birthday die is from Dovecraft and I used the Ebony Black Nuvo drops.
These took me no time at all and I still have lots of frames left over to make more designs.
I hope I’ve inspired you with this quick project and you give it a go.
Enjoy.
Sam

Love this site! I will really miss it if you ever give it up. Thanks! Lindy
Ah thank you Lindy, don’t worry I have no intentions on giving it up x
Hi, Sam! I love all your tutorials, and you make even complicated cards easy. This might be a dumb question, sorry, but am I allowed to sell cards I make using your ideas? Mostly, I give them to friends & family, but occasionally I get the opportunity to make a little money, and don’t want to do something wrong. Thank you! ☺️
Hi Sherrill, thank you for your kind message. Of course you can sell your cards, and if your making some money along the way then that’s fantastic. Happy crafting Sam x
