Hello everyone, today I’m sharing these useful Pen Gift Boxes.

 

These make wonderful gifts and great for selling at your local Craft Fairs.

I used 5 layers of my fun foam today to hold the pen inside.

To make these you will need…

2 pieces of 4″ x 9″ cardstock for your box, I used my favourite Docrafts brand.

Score along all 4 sides at 1/2 & 1″

1 piece of 1″ x 7″ for your hinge.

Score along the 1″ side at 1/2″

1 piece of 10.3/4 x 3/4″ for the lip of the box.

6 pieces of  Fun Foam 6.7/8 x 1.7/8.

I recommend you make a template for cutting your fun foam which is shown in my tutorial, this piece again measures 6.7/8 x 1.7/8

1 piece of 5″ x A4 length or 11″, it doesn’t matter as you will trim it down once you wrap it around your box.

The Pen stamps I used are by Docrafts and called “Stationary” I’ve only managed to find one place selling them, and that’s from Scrapbooking Made Simple in America, however, I’m sure some are still being sold in independent craft stores.

I love the simple packaging with the belly band, but of course, you can decorate them however you want.
