Hi everyone here is a very cute pop-up box card I’ve made using the supplies from my Hobbybase July kit.
I think by now you can tell that I adore this stamp set, and I have ordered more stamps from “For the Love of Stamps” so watch out for more fun cards like these.
Pop Up Box Cards are a very popular card style and lots of fun make.
This is the smallest version I’ve made with a 2″ x 2″ base and just over 4.1/2 tall.
The tall backside is perfect for your sentiment and message.
To make this card you will need…
1 piece of 8.1/4 x 4.1/2 cardstock.
Score along the 8.1/4 side at 2″, 4″, 6″ & 8″ leaving you with a 1/4″ tab on the far right side. Then flip your card over and with your 1/4″ tab along the top score along the 4.1/2 side at 2.1/4 down to the last score line NOT down to the bottom.
3 pieces of 2.1/2 x 3/4″ card for your inside tabs score along the long side at 1/4″ & 2.1/4
For your long back panel, you need 1 piece of 1.7/8 x 4.3/8 and 1 piece of 1.3/4 x 4.1/8
6 pieces of 1.7/8 x 2.1/8 for your small square mats.
6 pieces of 1.3/4 x 1.7/8 to layer on top of your mats.
Acetate to attach your images.
You can purchase the pre-made template I showed in my tutorial separately, here.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
These make perfect birthday cards or just fun paper decorations.
I think these are simply adorable and hope you think so too.

This is super cute, love it! Beautifully done Sam xx
I love this card! Can’t wait to try it!! Can you please tell me what size envelope this would fit in?
So cute!
Thank you hun 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Hi Stephanie, when flat the card measures 4.1/2 x 4″, however I’ve put mine in 6 x 6 envelopes as some of my critters over hung slightly. If your using an Envelope Punch Board I would follow the directions for a 4.1/2 x 5″ card size. Hope that helps, Sam 🙂
