“Happy Hour” Scrapbook Layout

Hey everyone, this weeks scrapbook layout is one of me and my grandad when I was a little girl.

This is one of my favourite photos of me and grandad, who sading passed away way to young so my memory of him is quite vague. Scrapbooking these photos help to keep the memories I do have of him alive.

I kept my colours very basic with my main focus on the kraft card which I distressed a little with Tim Holtz “Vintage Photo” Distress Oxide ink.

I love how well my Ranger Glossy Accents turned out on the letters and foam on the beer glasses.

You can create detailed easy backgrounds by just die cutting lots of different sized shapes, in my case hearts and layer them over each other to create interest and dimension.

I used paper from my Rosie’s Studio “Wild Flower” paper pack.

Check out my full process video below to see how I made it.

I finished off with the English Mustard Nuvo drops.

Let me know what you think.

Happy crafting.

  1. I love your card Sam’ it is not a blend one you have enough contrast from one side to the other. I also love the different elements you put on it same family but different texture. For me it is a good one , well done! SAM
