Hi everyone, this weeks fun fold card is this cool looking Reverse Easel Card.
I first saw this style on the Creative Stamping Facebook Page and thought it looked fab!
By simply reversing the main fold of a standard Easel card you get a completely new and unique look.
You have plenty of room to stamp your sentiment and write your message.
This 6 x 6 card base all folds flat fitting nicely into an envelope.
To make these cards you will need…
1 piece of 12″ x 6″ cardstock for your main card base. Score along the 12″ side at 6″, then flip the card over and score at 9″ by flipping the card it will give you nicer folds and prevent any cracking as your folding will be in the right direction.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to decorate the base.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 2.3/4 pattern paper to decorate the front main panel.
A circle, square, rectangle…any shape die cut you like to have as your main front piece. Both of my die cuts, the square and circle were 4.1/2 x 4.1/2 in size and then I layered up on top of them with smaller die cuts and my embellishments.
All of my supplies are from the Stampin Up “Tropical Chic” bundle. You can purchase these from Cayleigh May at Create with Cayleigh
A selection of die cuts and embellishments to decorate and use to create your stopper.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
I love the colour combos of these cards, I think that’s what drew me to the paper pack.
The card really comes together with the detail, these die cuts and stamped leaves are so lovely, the soft pink against the greens works so well.
Such a pretty inside ready for your message.
Hope you like this one.
Happy crafting.
