Hi everyone, this weeks Scrapbook Layout is one of me and my mum on the Tron ride from our recent trip to Disney Resort, Shanghai.
I haven’t laughed this much in a long time, we were both Peter Pan for the day and it was brilliant.
This is a 12 x 12 layout and as you can see the photo is huge! I didn’t want to cut it down as it has the name of the ride on it and the Disney logo.
One thing that stood out for me on the ride, was at the start when there was a countdown, it was at that moment when I knew this was going to be a very fast ride.
I wanted a layout that represented speed, I used a Heidi Swapp Chevron print stamp and Marianne designs paint stroke stamp which gave a look of a swooshing!
I kept this layout to 4 colours, blue, black, white and grey to match the theme of the ride.
Lots of explicit language was shouted during this ride as we had no idea what it was all about, as soon as we took off we both shouted OMG!!!
I used my Stampin Up Large Letter dies, and die cut first on silver Mirri card and then again on some white fun foam.
All of the wording and stickers are from Rosie’s Studio sand finish this layout off perfectly.
Check out my full process video tutorial below to see how I made it.
The papers I used are the 12 x 12 Ombre Array paper pack from Hobbycraft and the “Cool Neutrals” 12 x 12 paper pack by Craft Smith.
I smiled all the way through making this layout, my mums face sums up the ride perfectly.
I hope you’re having a loving weekend and I’ve made you smile with today’s layout.
