MIXED UP CRAFT

4 Years Married Scrapbook Layout

This week Neil and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary, I remember our day like it was yesterday and I still have tons of loose photos ready to scrapbook.

I pulled out 2 of my favorites and created this pretty layout.

I wanted to create something with lots of texture and that had a rustic feel about it.

We got married in an 800-year-old house which had flaking walls and ripped wallpaper so I used my homemade embossing paste to create a rough background.

On top of that, I added a pretty doily and then ran a strip of stunning jeweled lace through the middle.

On top of the lace, I started building up my Prima flowers and Pink Paislee “Auburn Lane” embellishments.

The detail in the Prima flowers is amazing and they really do add a special touch to your layouts.

For the title, I used my trusty kraft card letters from Hobbycraft and gold sticker words from Rosies Studio.

I finished the layout with some mini gold hearts and a chipboard “Love” sticker from Thickers “Pick Me Up” collection by American Crafts.

I love the way the B&W photos look against the soft cream, peach, and pink colours. Oh, and of course I added some Ranger Pearl Drops for some added texture and shine.

As always I hope you enjoyed today’s process video as much as I loved doing it.

Until next week…

Happy crafting
