Hi everyone, today I’m sharing how I made these cute plant holders.
I picked up these inexpensive plants from the supermarket and wanted a way to make them look special.
These are so easy to make and just show that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to give nice gifts.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 12″ x 12″ cardstock for your base.
Score on 2 of the sides at 3.1/2 & 8.1/2 then score along any side at 3″ & 9″ just down to the first score line, the repeat the same scoring on the opposite side.
2 pieces of 5″ x 12″ pattern paper for the front and back of your holder.
I used the First edition “Forever Free” papers.
2 pieces of 5″ x 5.1/2 for your handles. Score along the 5.1/2 side at 2.3/4
1 piece of 3″ x 2″ for your closure. Score along the 3″ side at 1/2″
Velcro dots or magnets to close the holder.
A sentiment and flowers to decorate.
I also cut a strip of cardstock to wrap around the plant pot.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
I love the cut-outs you get in this pack, they just finish off your projects perfectly.
These are quick and easy to make and perfect for so many occasions.
Have a wonderful week.
Happy Crafting
