MIXED UP CRAFT

Herringbone Technique Birthday Cards

Hi everyone, today I have these pretty Birthday Cards using the Herringbone Technique.

Herringbone Technique Birthday Cards

This technique is very easy and a great way to use up some of your scraps.

I used the First Edition “Mariposa” papers available from Amazon.

You can use any papers, prints and colours with this technique. I like to use the same collections but clashing different designs can look good too.

I used my current favourite Dovecraft Holographic mirrored card as my mat.

Available from Amazon.

You can see the fun rainbow effect the card stock gives you when it catches the light below.

To make these cards you will need…

1 blank card base, I used  5″ x 7″.

1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 mirrored card stock for my mat.

1 piece of 4.1/2 x 6.1/2 cardstock to stick your design on.

I use the Stix 2 double-sided A4 adhesive sheets available from Amazon.

The Raffia ribbon is from The Range UK.
