Hi everyone, today I shared this cute “New Baby” card.
Back in November, I received my Trimcraft design team package and in there was a large button mix.
I had only used them on a few projects and thought it would be nice to use them for this card.
The hot air balloon really works well for a new baby card and by just need to change the blue buttons to pink for a new baby girl version.
To make this you will need…
A 5″ x 7″ card base.
1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 card to mat the front of your card.
1 piece of 1″ x 1.1/4 brown kraft card for the basket. I embossed this small piece with a knitted jumper pattern embossing folder which made it look like a woven basket.
A bow and sentiment to decorate.
Check out my very quick video below to see how I put it all together.
I said in the video that I think this is my shortest tutorial ever so this is a very short blog post to match!
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful weekend.

So cute! I made a button hot air balloon card a few years ago, it’s a great way of using up buttons because I never know what to do with them!
