Hi everyone, today I’m sharing this pretty Arrow Fold Card.
I first made this fun fold style in 6″ x 6″ just over a year ago, and it has been so well received that I decided to share a new 5″ x 7″ size.
I shared this 5″ x 7″ size during my live cardmaking tutorial for Hobbybase a few weeks ago.
As this was on Facebook I decided to do a YouTube tutorial so that everyone can see it.
These are the ones I made during my live crafting. I used the First Edition Gardenia & Forever Free papers to decorate them.
You can shop both of these papers over on my Amazon Storefront here.
For today’s version, I’ve used the new Craft Consortium “The Herbarium” collection.
You can find the collection I purchased here.
I love the Daisy print against the black background teamed with the glimmer from the green cardstock and glitter in the centre of the daisies really makes this card sparkle.
The clever way the card is folded and the way the card is cut means you have a nice space inside to stamp and write your message.
To make this card you will need…
A 5″ x 7″ card blank or a piece of 10″ x 7″ card stock scored at 5″ along the 10″ side.
With the card black open and in portrait orientation, you should have the scoreline running across the middle of the card. You need to mark with a pencil the middle of the very bottom of the card and along both sides of the bottom section. Score from the left and right of the middle score line down to the middle bottom pencil mark and then score from the middle side pencil mark down to the middle bottom mark.
You should have 4 score lines all joining the middle bottom marker.
1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.1/2 glitter cardstock.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 4.1/4 pattern paper.
Flowers and embellishments to decorate.
Check out my full tutorial below.
Below you will find my tutorial from last year for the popular 6″ x 6″ version.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this new size and give it a go.
Happy crafting.
