Hi everyone, today I have these fun Graduation Cap Easel Cards to share.
Graduation season is here and I wanted to make a couple cards and think these turned out great!
I made a Graduation Explosion Box Card a couple years ago which many of you have enjoyed, but never made anything last year, so I thought I needed something this year.
If you haven’t seen this Explosion Box Card before, I’ve shared my tutorial below.
Today’s card is a variation of my Diamond Easel card and Pop Up Diamond Fold card.
It folds completely flat making it easy to post and is very quick to make too.
On the very back, you have lots of room to stamp and write your message.
To make this card you will need…
1 piece of 5.7/8 x 11.3/4 card or 5.1/2 x 11″
Score along the 11.3/4 side at 5.7/8 & 9″. If you’re using the 5.1/2 x 11″ card size, you need to score along the 11″ side at 2.3/4 & 5.1/2.
Below are the mats and layer sizes for the size card I made.
1 piece of 4.3/8 x 4.3/8 black card for the Graduation Cap.
1 piece of 4″ x 4″ black card to layer on top of the cap.
1 piece of 5.5/8 x 2.3/4 white card to mat onto the inside of the card.
1 piece of 5.1/8 x 1.1/2 black card for the stopper.
1 piece of 1.1/4 x 4.7/8 white card for your sentiment.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 white card for your very back panel.
Coloured bakers twine for the tassel.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
If you would like to make any of my other diamond fold cards, I’ve also shared those tutorials below.
I love the black and white tassel!
I hope you like the Graduation card and give it a go or try this style with any of the other tutorials I’ve shared above.
Have a great day and weekend.
Happy crafting
Sam
