Hi everyone, the second card for this year’s Creative Card Series 2019 are these Pretty Pop-Up Cards.
I’ve used the Bright Rosa Butterfly Band dies & Butterfly Border dies to make this Pop-Up card, but there are lots of other ways to use these dies.
Shop the whole Bright Rosa collection from Craft Stash here.
As I show in my video the dies are really big and you get a lot in each one.
I used the brand new Paper Addicts ‘Once Upon A Dream’ paper pack available from Amazon here.
I also made this version using the Bright Rosa Flower Band die set.
Check out the Flower Band die set here.
Although these dies are intended to be used as a wrap, they work great as a pop up feature!
The papers I used are from The Paper Boutique ‘Moonlight Song’ paper kit.
Available from Craft Stash here.
I used one of the toppers and a glitter doily to decorate the front.
Due to the large pop-up feature inside I used the back of the card to write my message.
To make these cards you will need…
A 6″ x 6″ card blank.
2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to mat in the two insides of the card.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to mat the front.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 pattern paper to layer on the front of the card.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to at the very back.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 white paper to stick on the back and write your message.
Die and embellishments for the pop up feature and to decorate.
Check out my full tutorial below.
As a huge Butterfly fan, this one has to be my favourite and I have more fun ways to use it.
I hope you like this card.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy crafting
Sam

Wow, Samantha, you are so skilled and talented at these and everything you make! I always read and enjoy your posts in my email. I’m still tuck on, how does everything fold up so perfectly when you close the card????? That takes skill! xoxox
STUCK on, sorry for the typo in my comment above, oops! xox
Hiya, as long as you have a big enough card and keep your folds central, everything folds inside and is hidden. I glad you liked it x
