Hello all, today I’m sharing these very sweet note cards with a matching case.
I wanted to make something to show off all the pretty toppers in The Paper Boutique ‘Magical Forest’ kit. They are so sweet and perfect for these mini note cards.
I know many of you have this kit after I used it to make the Spinner Cards. It’s still available from Craft Stash here.
This is very easy to make, which is why I thought it would be great for craft fairs.
I love the faux metal detail on the ends of the ribbon, I think it really gives it a professional finished look.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 9.3/8 x 6.1/4 cardstock for the case.
Score along the 9.3/8 side at 1/4″, 1″, 4.3/4, 5.1/2 & 5.3/4
Score along the 6.1/4 side at 1.3/4 down to the 5th score and 2.1/2 all the way down. Then rotate back along the longer side and score at 5.5/8 just down to the first scoreline.
5 pieces of 3.1/2 x 7″ card for the cards
Score along the 7″ side at 3.1/2
5 pieces of 6″ x 6″ paper for the envelopes. Using the envelope punch board follow the instructions for the 3.1/2 x 3.1/2 card size.
5 pieces of 3.1/4 x 3.1/4 glitter card to mat on all the mini cards.
2 pieces of 3.1/2 x 3.1/2 pattern paper to cover the front and inside of the case. Mine was slightly bigger because I was being fussy, but 3.1/2 x 3.1/2 will be fine.
1 piece of 3.5/8 x 1.1/2 pattern paper to cover the front of the pocket.
1 piece of 3.1/2 x 5/8″ pattern paper to cover the inside spine of the case.
Ribbon to close the case.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
The little foxy is my favourite image.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s tutorial and give it a go.
Have a lovely weekend.
Happy crafting.

Love this idea Sam. I really do love that paper and the critters are so cute! Will be trying a few of these for a Farmers market in my area……TYFS
Try plumbers tape for the silver “tips” on the ribbon ends.
