Hello everyone, today I’m sharing these fun Pop-Up Present Cards.
I’m really pleased which how this one came out and I love that you have a choice of the book or present style.
For the book style, I used the beautiful Hydrendia Lawns papers by Dress My Craft, which are available from Hochanda here.
The sentiment is from the Card Making Magic ‘Verses’ set here.
This lovely blue one was made using The Paper Boutique ‘Moonlight Song available here.
The ‘Happy Birthday’ dies are from my Bright Rosa ‘Birthday Words’ available here.
For the pink card below I used the Dovecraft ‘Make A Wish’ papers, which are still available from Amazon here.
To make these cards you will need…
1 piece of 12″ x 6″ coloured card for your base, score along the 12″ side at 6″ or use a pre-made 6″ x 6″ card blank.
2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern papers for the inside. You will need the same size for the front and back depending on how you choose to decorate it.
1 piece of 7″ x 4.1/2 card for the pop-up mechanism.
Score along the 7″ side at 3.1/2 & score along the 4.1/2 side at 4″
1 piece of 4″ x 4″ card for the lid of the pop-up present. Score along the 2 sides at 1/2″
2 pieces of 1/2″ x 4″ and 2 pieces of 1/2″ x 3.1/2 for the faux ribbon effect on the box.
Ribbon, sentiment and embellishments to decorate.
Please check out my full tutorial below.
The ribbon and tag help turn it into a present.
This will be great in Christmas papers.
The ‘Book Style’ will look great with pages added and some photos or a short story. I coloured the stamped image with my Arteza Everblend Markers.
You can write your message on the back of the pop-up piece of on the back, like below.
Happy crafting
Sam

WOW, that’s a wow factor for sure. I love it Sam. Now for the book style one, I was trying to see if you cut the paper the same as you did for the present one on the video cause I don’t seem to see the tabs? TYFS
