Hello everyone, today I’m sharing these stunning Easel Card Boxes!
I love giving little gifts and this card & box in one is perfect for giving a nice chocolate bar.
This all folds flat, so you can easily post it or pop it through the letterbox.
There is actually quite a lot of room in these, you can add a gift card, or fit a silk scarf inside, jewellery etc, you’ll be surprised what can fit in there.
I decorated these using the First Edition Making Memories paper pad.
This is available from Amazon here.
The Happy Birthday die is from the Bright Rosa ‘Birthday Words’ set and Flower dies are from the Bright Rosa ‘Flower Border’ dies, both available here.
The leaf dies are from the John Next Door ‘Ivy Panel’ die here.
For the sentiments, I used the Card Making Magic ‘Versus’ set here and an old Dovecraft one which I’ve found still being sold on eBay here.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 9.3/4 x 9.1/8 pattern card for the box.
Score along the 9.3/4 side at 4.1/8, 4.3/4, 8.7/8 & 9.1/2
Score along the 9.1/8 side at 1/2″, 1.1/8 & 8.1/2
1 piece of 8″ x 4″ card for the easel part.
Score along the 8″ side at 3.5/8 & 7.3/8
1 piece of 4 x 7.3/8 mirrored card for the topper.
1 piece of 3.3/4 x 7.1/8 pattern paper to layer on the topper.
Stamps, dies and embellishments to decorate.
Check out my full tutorial below.
There is plenty of room to stamp and write your message, making this box card a good one for a colleague in work and you need somewhere for lots of signatures.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy crafting
Sam
