Hello everyone, today I shared this Easy Concertina Pop Up Card.
This is very similar to my Unusual Concertina Step Cards I made a few months ago.
You can have the card either landscape or portrait.
These are 6″ x 6″ cards but you can easily make this any size you like.
You have room on the back to write your message.
Today’s cards were made using The Paper Tree ‘Lakeside Blooms’ papers, available here and The Paper Boutique ‘Ocean Breeze’ papers available here.
I love these paper pads and all the wonderful toppers that come in the kits.
To make these you will need…
2 pieces of 12″ x 6″ card for the main card base and the inside concertina part.
For the concertina part score along the 12″ side 2″, 4″, 6″, 8″ & 10″
Score along the 6″ side at 2″ & 4″ but only to the 2nd scoreline. Flip the card and score the same at the other end.
1 piece of 6″ x 8″ card for the inside concertina part.
Score along the 8″ side at 2″, 4″ & 6″
12 pieces of 1.3/4 x 1.3/4 card for the square mats.
12 pieces of 1.1/2 x 1.1/2 pattern paper to layer over the mats.
I had a sentiment in the 2 middle panels, but if you want to add more mats there then you will need to piece of 1.3/4 x 5.3/4
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 card for the back.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 plain paper to stamp and write your message.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
This card has a great profile and a nice spring to it!
I love the feminine nautical images in this pad!
I seem to be using my Bright Rosa Word to die on everything at the moment.
These are available from Craft Stash here.

Thank you for this tutorial. Lovely card and I watched the video a few times to write out the dimensions for a 5×7 card. Much appreciated!
