Hello friends, today I’m sharing this stylish 6″ x 6″ x 3″ gift box.

I made this as a sample when I visited Trimcraft H/O in July and thought it would be nice to share in a tutorial with you all.

I love the Dovecraft Twilight Wishes collection, it’s rich colours mixed with the gold foiling give an opulent and expensive look to your projects.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS GIFT BOX

2 pieces of 12″ x 12″ cardstock

Score the one piece at 1.1/2 & 3″ on all 4 sides.

The other piece you need to take 1/16 ” off 2 sides or cut to 30.3cm squared. Then score all for sides at 3″

4 pieces of 5.3/4 x 2.3/4 glitter card for the sides of the base.

4 pieces of 5.1/2 x 2.1/2 pattern paper to layer onto the sides of the base.

4 pieces of 5.3/4 x 1.1/4 glitter card for the sides of the lid.

4 pieces of 5.1/2 x 1″ pattern paper to layer onto the sides of the lid.

For the lid you need…

1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4

1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2

1 piece of 5.1/4 x 5.1/4

1 piece of 5″ x 5″

1 piece of 4.3/4 x 4.3/4

1 piece of 4.1/2 x 4.1/2

  1. I don’t like this box Sam, I LOVE IT!!!!! You know it would look great with feet on it as well!! All the papers and layers are so great together. I just have to learn to mix and match patterns, but still keep in the same color pallet and think I’d be fine. Too afraid to try it, but I must. Your makes are all exquisite!! TYFS
