Cute Acetate Gift Bags

Hello friends. today I’m sharing these cute acetate gift bags using the Hunkydory ‘Edge It’ stamp set.

I’ve had this set a while now and just kept forgetting to use it but I did know I wanted to use it on some gift bags or boxes when I did.

I stamped the images on watercolour paper and coloured them using my Nova Watercolour pens.

To add some fun texture I used the Cosmic Shimmer ‘Fluffy Stuff’, it’s great stuff, you just add heat and watch it expand to resemble snow.

These images are adorable and nice and big, they are also easy to colour.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BAGS

1 piece of acetate 12″ x 9.3/4

Score along the 12″ side at 4″, 5.3/4, 9.3/4 & 11.1/.2

Score along the 9.3/4 side at 1.3/4

Score back along the 12″ side at 4.7/8 & 10.5/8. Only score down to just above the first scoreline.

2 pieces of just under 1.3/4 x just under 4″ card for the base.

2 pieces of 1.1/2 x 4″ card for the flaps.

Ribbon, stamps and embellishments to decorate.
