Hi everyone, to kick start this week’s projects I have this cute Centre Pop-Out Card using acetate.
I picked up these stamps at the Creative Craft Fair and wanted a card to show off the flying Snowman & Owl.
I’m really pleased with these cards, and I think the snowy trees against the night’s sky are really striking.
As always I really enjoyed colouring these images, I put the Snowman movie on whilst bring the stamps to life.
I used my Arteza colouring pencils to I could get the grainy look as featured in the movie.
SUPPLIES USED TO CREATE THESE CARDS
Snowman stamps, unfortunately as I purchased these from the craft show and they are older I’m unable to find any online, however, there are other versions online.
The tree die is from Paper Discovery here.
White Posca Pen available here & here.
Crafters Companion 12″ x 9″ Acetate available here.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS
1 piece of 12″ x 6″ cardstock, score along the 12″ side at 6″ for your card base.
1 piece of 12″ x 6″ acetate, score along the 12″ side at 3″ & 9″ and then flip over and score at 6″
2 pieces of 3″ x 6″ cardstock to cover the inside, left and right side.
1 piece of 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 white card to stamp and write your message.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 white card for the front.
1 piece of 5″ x 5″ coloured cardstock to later on top.
Check out my full tutorial below.
I kept the front simple using another Snowman stamp from one of the sets.
I love the shape of this card, it’s really versatile and will work well for many occasions.
I think Santa on his sleigh would also work well with this scene.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and give it go.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy crafting
Sam

Super card. Thank you for the fab tutorial, I haven’t done one of these pop out cards before, but with your tutorial I’m very sure I’d be able to. (Fortunately I have the original snowman CD rom with these images on there, which I had totally forgot about, thanks for the reminder lol)
Best wishes
