Hello everyone, so finally, I feel like I’m getting back to normal, nearly caught up with everything and I feel like I’m back into my routine again.

To start this week I have these Beautiful Drawstring Gift Bags.

I adore these and I’m so pleased with how they look.

They are a great size, and with the faceted sides, they can actually hold quite a lot.

I also shared this larger size using 3 sheets of 12 x 12, I’ve shared the measurements for this one below.

I love the big one but this smaller size is my favourite.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BAGS

The Summer Dreams paper pad was from The Works, it has sold out online but you may still be able to get it in some stores.

The sentiment on the gift-tag is from the Card Making Magic ‘Happy Mail’ stamp set available here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BAGS

To make the smaller version I  make in my tutorial you will need…

2 pieces of 9″ x 9″ pattern paper for the bottom of the bag

Score along the 9″ side at 3″ & 8.1/2 and put a small notch or pencil mark at 5.3/4

Score along the other side at 3″

2 pieces of 8.1/2 x 4″ pattern paper for the top, drawstring part of the bag.

Score along the 4″ side at 1.1/2 & 3.1/2

Score along the 8.1/2 side at 3″ & 5.3/4 and then also score at 1.1/4 & 1.3/4, 4.1/8 & 4.5/8, 6.7/8 & 7.3/8 ALL DOWN TO THE FIRST SCORELINE.

2 pieces of 1.1/2 X 7.1/2 paper for the strap/handle.

Score along the 1.1/2side at 3/4″

Score along the side at

To make the larger version you will need…

2 pieces of 12″ x 12″ pattern paper for the bottom of the bag

Score along the 12″ side at 4″ & 11.1/2 and put a notch or pencil mark at 7.3/4

Rotate and score along the other side at 12″ at 4″

2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 11.1/2″ pattern paper for the top, drawstring part of the bag.

Score along the 5.3/4 side at 1/2″ & 4.1/2

Score along the 11.1/2″ side at  4″ & 7.3/4 and then at 1.1/2 & 2.1/2, 1.3/4 & 2.3/8, 5.1/8 & 6.1/8 ALL DOWN TO THE FIRST SCORELINE.
