Hi everyone, today I’m sharing these beautiful Double Pocket Satchel Bags!
I actually wanted to make something to show off the gorgeous padlock! It looks like its made of kryptonite in the photo from the light hitting the holographic card I used!
It’s awesome and certainly a die you will see me using a lot.
By simply adding 2 small boxes either side, it completely transforms the bag.
These measure 7.1/2 x 4″ x 8″, so they are a great size.
SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BAGS
First Edition Bloom & Wonder 12 x 12 paper pad available here.
Padlock Die by Simply Made Crafts here.
Dovecraft Holographic card available here.
16mm Hook & Loop dots available here.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BAGS
2 pieces of 12″ x 12″ strong pattern paper.
Score first at 7.1/2 & 11.1/2
Score along the other side at 4″
2 pieces of 6″ x 10″ cardstock for the side boxes.
Score along the 6″ side at 3/4″, 4.3/4 & 5.1/2
Score along the 10″ side at 4″, 4.3/4, 8.3/4 & 9.1/2
1 piece of 7.1/2 x 8.1/2″ strong pattern paper for the lid.
2 pieces of 1″ x A4 length or 12″ for the handle.
1 piece of 1.1/2 x 7.1/2 paper to emboss and stick on the front this is (Optional)
2 pieces of 3.3/4 x 3.3/4 pattern paper to cover the front of the side boxes.
2 pieces of 4″ x 1.1/2 pattern paper for the boxes flaps.
