Hello friends, sorry for the delay in blog posts towards the end of the week, my nan has come to visit so I have been spending some lovely time with her.
On Wednesday I shared these awesome Gel Filled Cards using real hair gel!
The blue gel in these cards gives them a really authentic pond look and they are very tactile too!
I have used supplies from the new Underwater World collection by Paper Discovery, I’ve loved mixing the stamped images and the die-cut pieces together to build these pond scenes.
I love the frog and the lily pads and the Herring bird below looks wonderful.
The 6 x 6 cut and emboss, pond embossing folder is fantastic and really makes these cards.
I used a Fuse Tool to hold the gel in place however I do show you other ways to seal the bag in my tutorial below.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS
I used a 6″ x 6″ card blank.
The pond grey card is 5.3/4 x 5.3/4.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 coloured card for the back.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 white card to stamp and write your message for the back.
Double Lock food bags.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 Coloured/pattern vellum or blue coloured paper for under the food bag.
