Hi everyone, earlier today I shared a lovely tutorial showing you how to make these beautiful Pinwheel cards, but the star of the show is my wonderful Nan, Evelyn.
We spent a lovely afternoon last week doing some crafting and making these cards, check out nans below, it’s beautiful and she had so much fun making it.
We used the new Fresh Floral’s kit from Issue 184 of Papercraft Essentials available here.
These are very easy cards to make, even with the spinning element.
They look nice with or without a sentiment, so don’t always think you have to have writing on the front of your cards, sometimes they actually look better without!
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS
A 6 x 6 white card blank.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 coloured card to mat the front.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 pattern paper to layer on top.
2 square pieces of 3.1/2 x 3.1/2 card for the base star shape.
2 square pieces of 3.1/4 x 3.1/4 card to layer on top.
4 pieces of 1.1/2 x 1.1/2 pattern paper in one colour.
4 pieces of 1.1/2 x 1.1/2 pattern paper in another colour.
Check out my full tutorial below.
I hope you have enjoyed today’s card and the video made you smile, I know my Nan and I did.
Until next time…
