Hi everyone, here are some easy gift boxes I’ve made with a shaker lid.
I’ve made shaker bags in the past and other shaker projects but not a gift box, so here are these adorable ones, one for Christmas & the other for Halloween.

I love the adorable owl nestled amongst the Pointsettia flowers.
And I love the sweet Pumpkins and glittery Haunted House on this one.
SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BOXES
Daisy Mae Designs Sleepy Owl & Perfect Pointsettia stamp sets available here.
Daisy Mae Designs Toadstool Seat stamp set available here.
For The Love of Stamps – No Place Like Home stamp set for house stamp available here.
Christmas paper pad from The Works. The one I show is not available online, however, there are lots of other nice ones available here.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE BOXES
2 pieces of 9.1/2 x 9.1/2 white card for the lid and base.
Cut a slither away from 2 sides from 1 of the pieces. This will become the base, score at 2.1/2 on all 4 sides.
Score the other piece at 1.1/4 & 2.1/2
4 pieces of 4.1/4 x 2.1/4 red card and 4 pieces of 4″ x 2″ pattern paper to mat and layer the base.
4 pieces of 1″ x 4.1/4 red card and 4 pieces of 3/4″ x 4″ pattern paper to mat and layer the lid.
1 piece of 4.1/4 x 4.1/4 pattern paper for the inside base.
Check out my full tutorial, to see how I made them.
I hope you enjoyed this cute gift box idea from me today.
Thank you for stopping.
Happy crafting

Loving this box Sam! I’m sure we can all find something nice to go inside of it. Be safe & TYFS
Hi Sam
For the dummies amongst us, (that would be me) could you please show how you did the outer red/white frame please. No matter which way I try I still come up with 2 separate pieces I have to piece together.
