To kick start this years Easter Series 2021 I have these cute Peeking Bunny Cards.
I first made this style a couple months ago as part of the inspiration in the new Lisa Horton Craft kit 1 available here.
My brief for the magazine was to create cards for kids, so I made this bunny one, a caterpillar card and a pretty floral Bridge Fold Card.
This is a lovely kit with great papers that I plan to use for the rest of my Easter projects.
This Peeking Bunny uses Punch Art, with the idea being, that you can create characters using your punches or shaped dies. I really like this technique as it’s easy, and fun creating your own characters and bringing them to life!
I used googly eyes to add dimension and some movement to the card.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS CARD
6 X 6 card blank.
A 3.1/2 x 4.1/2 oval shape for the main aperture.
2′ circle for the head.
3′ circles for the body.
1′ x 3.1/4 ovals for the ears.
5/8′ x 2.3/4 ovals for the inside ear detail.
5/8′ circles for the cheeks.
Check out my full tutorial below.
I placed the same size circle I used for the body, inside the card, so I have somewhere to write my message.
I finished the card with some Glossy Accents on the bee and centre of the flowers and a silver heat embossed sentiment.
Thank you for visiting my blog today.
Happy crafting
Sam
