Showstopper Cards | Interlocking Panel Cards

Hi everyone today I’m sharing these wonderful Interlocking Panel Cards.
These are a real showstopper card, but they fold down neatly into a 6 x 6 size.

I didn’t intend to make this card, I actually planned on cutting the aperture on the front when closed but it went terribly wrong, so instead I did it on the side and I think it’s turned out great.
You could easily make this in other sizes and I think it will work for so many occasions.
You have plenty of space on the back to write your message.
There is so much space to decorate and personalise however you like.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

This tutorial  is sponsored by Craft Label who very kindly sent me the 12 x 12 First Edition ‘Oh So Sweet’ paper pad available here. They have also given me a 15% off code for you to all use. This is only valid on own brand full price product for 2 months starting 14/06/2021. Craft Label also only deliver within the UK.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

2 pieces of 12′ x 6′ cardstock.

Score along the long side at 6′ and then at 3′ just over half way down and then flip the card and score at 9′ just over half way down.

16 pieces of 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 patten and plain paper to decorate all the panels.

1 piece of 1/2 x 5′ for the middle bar.

Score at 1/2′, 2.1/2 & 4.1/2

1 piece of 1/2′ x 3′

Score at 1/2′, 1′, 2′ & 2.1/2

4.1/4 diameter circle for the aperture, you can use any shape you like, and this card also looks great without the aperture cut into it.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card and, as always thank you for visiting today.

Happy crafting
