Hey friends, recently I made the Bookbinding cards which I had seen around. There are many wonderful designs but I wanted to add multiple pages so it looked more like a book.
I made this nautical version during a Facebook live.
I remembered during the live that I had a lovely stamp with a paragraph from ‘The Night Before Christmas’ book and thought a Christmas version would be perfect for this style.
I coloured these images using my Arteza coloured pencils.
I added 4 pages, but you can easily add more or less. I will add a gift card in the space below.
I think these would also be great in mini albums filled with photos.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE
1 piece of 5′ x 7′, 5′ x 6.1/2, 5′ x 6′ & 5 x 5.1/2 card for the main ‘RED’ pages.
Score each piece along the longer side at 1.1/2
1 piece of 5′ x 6.3/4, 5′ x 6.1/4 & 5′ x 5.3/4 vellum for between each of the pages.
1 piece of 4.3/4 x 5.1/4, 4.3/4 x 4.3/4 , 4.3/4 x 4.1/4 & 4.3/4 x 3.3/4
1 piece of 4.1/2 x 5′, 4.1/2 x 4.1/2 , 4.1/2 x 4′ & 4.1/2 x 3.1/2
1 piece of 1.1/4 x 4.3/4 card for the front side panel.
Ribbon to tie.
Check out my full tutorial below.
I used white embossing powder and watercolour pens to colour these images.
