Hi everyone, today I’m sharing this Expanding showstopper card.

I love long cards, the ones that really stand out from the rest!

This one uses some very pretty papers teamed with some Creative Stamping images.

Once folded this is a 5 x 7 size and will fit inside one of my box envelopes here.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

Card Making Magic Oval Nesting Dies (SOLD OUT)

Card Making Magic Verses stamps (SOLD OUT)

Botanical Garden paper Pad from The Works (SOLD OUT) here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

2 pieces of 7.1/2 x 7′ card for the front and back.

Score along the 7.1/2 side at 2.1/2

1 piece of 10′ x 7′ card for the middle.

Score along the 10′ side at  2.1/5, 5′ & 7.1/2

1 piece of 5 x 7 for the pop-out piece.

Score along the 5′ side at 2.1/2

4 pieces of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 pattern paper to cover the 4 main panels, front, and back.

2-4 pieces of 2.1/4 x 6.3/4 pattern paper to cover the thin panels.

2 pieces of 2.1/8 x 6.1/4 of pattern paper to cover the two larger triangular sections.

2-4 pieces of 2.1/8 x 2.7/8 pattern paper to cover the 8 smaller triangular sections.

1 piece of 1.1/2 x the longest length you can get for the belly band.
