Letter E Shaped Gift Box

Hi everyone, after I shared my M-shaped gift box for Mothers Day I received so many comments and emails asking if I would make more letters, so…I’ve decided to do the whole alphabet!

I’ve decided to keep with the same 6′ height for all the letters and just alter the width for each letter, this way if you want to spell out a certain word, they will all be the same height and match.

They are pretty easy to make and can be filled with anything.

The decorations used are purchased from The Works UK, Poundland & The Range UK.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS ‘E’ LETTER

2 pieces of 4.3/4 x 6′ card for the front and back of the letter.

1 piece of 3′ x 11.1/4 card for the side and bottom.

Score along the 3′ side at 1/2′ & 2.1/2

Score along the 11.1/4 side at 6 & 10.3/4

1 piece of 3′ x 10.3/4 card for the bottom & middle section.

Score along the 3′ side at 1/2′ & 2.1/2

Score along the 10.3/4 side at 1.1/2, 4.1/4, 5.1/4, 6.3/4, 7.3/4, 9.1/4 & 10.1/4

1 piece of 3′ x 9.1/2 card for the top.

Score along the 3′ side at 1/2′ & 2.1/2

Score along the 9.1/2 side at 1/2′, 2.1/2, 5.1/4 & 6.3/4

1 piece of 1.3/4 x 5.3/4 & 1.3/4 x 4.1/2 to cover the side and very bottom. 3 pieces of 1.3/4 x 2.1/2 to cover the top and middle, 4 pieces of 1.3/4 x 1.1/4 to cover the small outer side panels and most inner side panels. 3 pieces of 1.3/4 x 3/4′ pattern paper to cover the smallest inside panels and 1 piece of 1.3/4 x 1.3/4 pattern paper to cover the top flip lid panel.

2 pieces of 4.1/2 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to cover the front and back.
