Swing Cards

Pretty Double Swing Cards

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing a pretty Double Swing Card.

I love making unusual card folds and think this one has a great look.

This is the same card but I’ve added panels to each end to extend it. This style would be good if you want to create a scene.

This is a 6 x 6 size when folded and will fit into an envelope, or box envelope if you have a lot of dimension.

You have lots of space on the back to stamp and write your message.

You can easily make this any size you like and with as many ‘swing’ elements as you want.

I made this lovely single version last year which has been very popular.

You can find my tutorial for that one here.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

Field of Dream 6 x 6 & 8 x 8 paper pads are available here.

The circle stamp set is SOLD OUT.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

2 pieces of 6 x 6 card for the side panels.

2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to cover the panels.

1 piece of 12′ x 6′ for the back panel.

Score along the 12′ side at 3′, 6′ & 9′

If you want to make the extended version then you will need 2 pieces of 6 x 6.1/2.

Score along the 6.1/2 side at 1/2′

2 pieces of 3′ x 6′ to cover the inside panels, you will need to cut a little off the sides so the paper doesn’t catch on the centre scoreline inside.

2 pieces of 2.1/2 x 5.3/4 to cover the back.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy crafting
