I wanted something to hold the small chocolate snowmen I had purchased.
The shadow box can be used on its own, you can attach a gift with a glue dot or add some acetate over the front.
The box also works great on its own.
I’ve decorated mine for Christmas but I can see this working for many more occasions, especially Easter.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE GIFT BOXES
2 pieces of 5′ x 6.3/8 card for the long sides of the shadow box.
Score along the 5′ side at 1′, 2′, 3′ & 4′
2 pieces of 4.1/8 x 5′ card for the short sides of the shadow box.
Score along the 5′ side at 1′, 2′, 3′ & 4′
Score along the 4.1/4 side at 1′ in each corner, just down to the first scoreline.
1 piece of 8′ x 8.1/4 card for the inner box.
Score along the 8′ side at 2′, 3.3/4, 5.3/4 & 7.1/2
Score along the 8.1/4 side at 1.3/4, 6′ & 7.3/4
2 pieces of 3/4′ x 6.1/8 and 3/4′ x 3.7/8 pattern paper to cover the sides of the shadow box.
2 pieces of 3/4′ x 6′ & 3/4′ x 3.5/8 pattern paper to cover the top sides of the shadow box.
