Hi everyone, I recently made this cute Split & Fold gift bag.
I saw this toy my mum brought for my nephew and thought the shape would make a great gift bag.
It’s a really cool shape and will look good decorated for a New Home gift.
SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THIS GIFT BOX
Kraft card available here.
The gems are from B&M
The Scallop edge die is from an old Bright Rosa die set.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS GIFT BOX
2 pieces of 5 x 8.1/2 card for the base & sides.
Score along the 5′ side at 1/2′ & 4.1/2
Score along the 8.1/2 side at 1′, 4′ & 8′
2 pieces of 5′ x 6′ card for the roof.
Score along the 5′ side at 1/2′ & 4.1/2
2 pieces of 5′ x 6′ for the out roof.
1 piece of 1.1/2 x 5′ card for the middle of the roof.
Score at 3/4′ along the 1.1/2 side.
4 pieces of 4′ x 6′ card for the fronts and backs of the bag.
2 pieces of 2.3/4 x 3.3/4 pattern paper to decorate the sides.
1 piece of 1′ x 6′ card for the front/centre of the gift bag.
2 pieces of 2′ x 2′ white card and 1.3/4 x 1.3/4 red card for the windows.
4 strips of 1/4′ x 2′ card for the windows.
