Hello everyone and happy Monday, today I have something a little different. I have 3 projects that I will be sharing today, Wednesday & Friday featuring the Stampin Up, “Oh So Eclectic” range.
As I mention in my tutorial one of the best things about doing what I do is the friendships you form along the way. Over the last 18 months, I have made many friends with other like-minded people who have a passion for paper craft.
At the end of last year, I was approached by Cayleigh from Create with Cayleigh
Cayleigh is a fantastic paper crafter who has been a Stampin Up Demonstrator for 5 years, She expressed her passion for paper craft and design and a nice friendship has formed.
Please head over to Cayleigh’s Facebook page above and her YouTube & Website links below.
I had the pleasure of choosing some wonderful products to create with and today I’m sharing the first of the 3 projects.
Tuxedo Pop Up Box Card
I love fun fold cards, and I’ve made many Pop Up Box cards but this one is slightly different as it has a little collar on it like a Tuxedo jacket.
As soon as I received the stamps I knew it would work perfectly for this style card.
As a lot of you know I love fussy cutting and that’s what I did with all the flowers stamped. I love that particular stamp, however, there is another flower stamp in the set which has a matching die so if you have this set and fussy cutting isn’t your thing, you can still create this card.
To make this you will need…
1 piece of cardstock 4″ x 10.1/2
Score along the 10.1/2 side at 2.1/2, 5″, 7.1/2 & 10″
2 pieces of patterned paper 2.3/8 x 3.7/8
Acetate strips 1/2″ x 4″ but some will be trimmed down as you put it together.
6 stamped flower images.
10 stamped leave images.
Sentiment and bow to decorate.
Everything I used in the video you can purchase through Cayleigh’s Website.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
This card when flat measures 6 x 8.1/2, so you can make the biggest envelope for it using the Envelope Punch Board.
I hope you have enjoyed this fun fold card from me today, I’ve absolutely loved using the Stampin Up projects and a huge thank you to Cayleigh, please go and say hello to her and check out her awesome ideas.
I hope you will give these ago, and if you would like more inspiration, below you will find some other Pop Up Box cards I’ve done.
Happy crafting everyone.
