Hi everyone, I don’t usually post on a Sunday, however, we have a typhoon due to hit soon and it’s terrible outside, so a day spent crafting it is…I’m not complaining!

This weeks Hobbybase card is this Elegant Butterfly card using the Hobbybase Butterfly die.

I have recently purchased the new First Edition “Botanical” paper pack which is beautiful.

Available in 6 x 6, 8 x 8 & 12 x 12 from Hobbybase.

It’s a very simple card with one layer and 2 die cut butterflies as the focus.

I didn’t have any thick ribbon to match the second card so I used two strips of a thinner matching ribbon and really like the effect.

I opted for a circle die cut in the middle, however, any shape would work.

This is a 5″ x 7″ card with a 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 mat on top.
