Hi everyone, last weeks Scrapbook Layout was this vintage layout of my Great Nanny, Nanny and her sister Gillian.
I love doing vintage layouts and find them much easier to do then more modern ones.
Whenever I start I layout I pull together all the supplies I want to use, for this one I used some paper doilies, fabric, parcel tag, wood veneers, gold corners protectors and a vintage key.
I first build up my background, for this layout, I used my homemade Embossing Paste, I’ve used this recipe for many years now and love it.
I now only make it in white as I can add my coloured inks to change the colour. I wanted all the colours to match in this layout so I also dyed the fabric and doilies with the same yellow Dye Izink.
To create my title I used my favourite kraft card alphas which I can’t find anywhere if anyone knows who they are by, as I’ve forgotten, please let me know as I would love to know more.
I also used the Tim Holtz “Clipping Stickers” available from Hobbycraft and the Rosies Studio “Puffy Phrase Stickers”.
Check out my process video below to see how I put it all together.
I hope you enjoyed this weeks vintage layout.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy crafting.
Sam
