Yesterday I shared this cute Snow Globe Easel Shaker Card…a mouthful to say I know!!!
You know I all love a Shaker card, so as soon as I saw the townhouses in the First Edition Jolly Holiday’s paper pack I knew I needed to make a Snow Globe style Shaker card.
I used some iridescent snowflake confetti that I purchased from The Range last year, however, this stuff is widely available in most craft stores over the festive and winter season. I’ve also found some on Amazon.
I fussy cut some of the fun images, like the Snowman and sentiment from the same pack, that way everything matches.
There is plenty of room to write your message, either on the very back or under the easel part as I show below.
To make these you will need…
4 pieces of 6 x 6 coloured cardstock, I used red.
2 pieces of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 white cardstock.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 acetate sheet.
Pattern paper of your choice.
I’m not going to list measurements as this card can be made with any size circles you want, as long as they are within the 6 x 6 cardstock sizes I listed above. You can use, circle die cuts or any round objects that you have lying around, and for that reason, everyone’s sizes will be slightly different.
I used my Xcut Circle Cutter available from Hobbycraft.
For the snow globe stand you need a piece of 3.1/2 x 1.1/2 cardstock.
Just follow the process in my tutorial below for a clearer understanding.
You may also find this other tutorial of mine useful, where I use circle die cuts to make the same style card.
I also mentioned in my tutorial that I like to decorate my envelopes with old used stamps, these are a nice touch to add on any hand delivered cards you may be sending.
Thank you for stopping by everyone, I do hope you are enjoying my Christmas projects and are feeling inspired.
Happy crafting.
